The essentials

Fishing in GTA VI aims to be as complete as in Red Dead Redemption 2, according to Rob Nelson, quoted by content creator TGG. Rockstar places it in Mount Kalaga, and a screenshot shows Jason fishing from a boat, Cal with binoculars. One big difference: every catch is released. So fishing brings in nothing from resale; it serves challenges, collectibles and story moments.
