THE SITE, IN THE OPEN
Legal and
privacy.
Who publishes the site, who hosts it, what stays in your browser and what leaves it. Checked against the site’s code on October 15, 2026.
The essentials
In short
Five sentences to understand it all; the details follow, section by section.
No cookies, no cookie banner
No account, no ads, no scripts from other sites, and nothing is stored on your device to track you: so no cookie banner is needed. The cookie-free analytics count the pages viewed without keeping anything that identifies you (details). The only exception, if you choose it: the YouTube and Spotify players on the Radio and music page and the official video pages, loaded after your click. Checked in the code and in a browser on October 14, 2026.
Your data stays with you
Calculations, progress tracking, map, collection and your conversation with Léo are saved in your browser and nowhere else.
What leaves, if you use it
The Contact form and the home page alert send what you write in them, through Brevo. Your questions to Léo and to the calculator bar go to the site’s AI to be understood (the provider is named below). Nothing else is sent.
A personal project
The site is published by a private individual, with no commercial activity, and hosted by Vercel.
Your rights
To access your data, or have it corrected or deleted, write to contact [at] leonidakit [dot] com.
Who publishes
Publisher and director of publication
In plain terms Leonidakit is published by a private individual, with no commercial purpose; their identity is known to the host.
Leonidakit is published on a non-professional basis by a private individual (a natural person). In accordance with Article 1-1, II of French Law No. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN), as amended by Law No. 2024-449 of May 21, 2024, the publisher remains anonymous to the public: their last name, first name, home address and phone number have been provided to the host named below, which is bound by professional secrecy and may disclose them only in the cases provided for by law. In this situation, the law only requires the host’s name and address (text in force, consulted on Legifrance on October 1, 2026).
The site shows no ads, contains no affiliate links and sells nothing. The director of publication is the publisher. For data from the two forms (see Personal data), the data controller is the site’s publisher, a private individual (see Publisher), who can be reached at the address below.
Contact, including for any legal request: contact [at] leonidakit [dot] com, or the contact form.
Who hosts
Hosting
In plain terms The pages and the site’s functions (form sending, AI, analytics) are hosted by Vercel, in the United States.
- Host
- Vercel Inc.
- Address
- 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States
- privacy@vercel.com
- Source
- Vercel’s privacy notice dated June 1, 2026, consulted on October 1, 2026 (postal address and email address; Vercel does not publish a phone number there, and the law does not require one for a non-professional publisher).
Who owns what
Intellectual property
In plain terms GTA VI and its images belong to Rockstar Games; the site is an independent fan project.
Grand Theft Auto, GTA VI, Leonida and the elements of the game are trademarks and creations of Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. Leonidakit is an independent project, not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by these companies.
Official promotional media (screenshots, artwork, trailer images) remain the property of their rights holders. They are displayed, sometimes resized or cropped, to illustrate the information, with their credit; this credit does not grant permission to reuse them. The full list is in Media and credits. A rights holder who wants an image removed can write to contact [at] leonidakit [dot] com (reason: “Request about an image”).
The map’s photos and data come from gtadb.org and its contributors, under the Creative Commons BY 4.0 license. The Archivo font is distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (file fonts/LICENCE-ARCHIVO.txt). The vehicle and weapon diagrams are drawings made for the site, not images from the game.
The catalogue illustrations (consumables, hairstyles, tattoos, outfits, customization) are silhouettes drawn for the site while we wait for the official visuals: each object is modeled in 3D with Blender (some objects and materials come from Poly Haven, public domain, CC0), then shown in shadow, with a rim of light and its own lights. They are not images from the game, and each one gives way to the official visual as soon as there is one.
Leonidakit’s own texts, code and tools are protected: all rights reserved, except for the licensed elements listed above. You may quote a short passage with a link to the page.
What stays, what leaves
Personal data
In plain terms Almost everything stays in your browser; only the two forms and your questions to the AI (Léo, calculator bar) leave, when you send them.
Data controller: the site’s publisher, a private individual (see Publisher), reachable at contact [at] leonidakit [dot] com. Their identity is known to the host (LCEN, Art. 1-1 II) and will be disclosed to you on request at this address, in particular so you can exercise your rights. The site has no data protection officer (not required for a personal site with no large-scale processing).
What stays in your browser
The tools save their data in your browser’s storage (localStorage, and sessionStorage for what is cleared when the tab closes). All keys start with “lk”. Nothing is written until you do something: a key appears with your first action (a number entered, a box checked, a draft, a selection, a question to Léo). The publisher cannot access this storage and never receives this data.
- Calculator: your numbers, trackers, saved calculations, favorites and backup copies.
- Tracking and Progress: what you checked off (vehicles, weapons, gear, lists), and your progress.
- Map and Collectibles: places found, markers, drawn routes, layers, preferences, and for the trip calculator the vehicles you compare and the speeds you entered (
lk_trajet_v1). - Ranking: your top 10.
- Guess the Location (
lk_devine_v1): your answers in the daily game, your streak of days played, your best score, your stats (games, scores, correct answers by region, last 60 days) and your album of images already played, written when you first answer; free play keeps nothing. Sharing only sends the text of your result, to the app you choose. - The site’s games (
lk_jeux_v1): your daily answers in The Announcement Timeline and Guess the Station, your streaks, your stats, the daily challenges you’ve completed and your badges, written with your first answer; free play keeps nothing. Your points and your level are worked out from these two keys, without changing anything in the Guess the Location one. - Language: the language chosen with “Change language” or with the banner that offers it (a single key, kept until you choose another language); nothing is written if you don’t click.
- Analytics: if you choose “Stop counting me on this device”, that choice is kept (a single key) until “Count me again”; otherwise nothing is written.
- Léo: the conversation stays in the tab (32 messages at most) and is cleared after 30 minutes of inactivity or with “Clear”. In local mode, Léo answers from your browser using the site’s files and nothing is sent; with the AI, your question is sent as described below.
- AI (Léo and the calculator bar): your “Local” choice if you made it (
lk_ia_mode), a random identifier created at your first question to the AI and sent with it to count your free questions (lk_ia_appareil), and the state of your access for the life of the tab (lk_ia_etat). The AI is entirely free: no credit, no payment. - Microphone (Léo and the calculator bar): nothing is written; the recognized text goes into the field, as if you had typed it.
- Reporting: “Report a wrong answer” opens Contact with the question placed after the # sign, which the browser doesn’t send to the server; nothing is sent until you submit the form.
- Contact: the form draft, cleared with “Clear the draft” or once the form is sent.
- Copies for playing offline: a small script on the site, called a service worker (
/sw.js), keeps copies of the site pages and files you open in your browser’s cache, and, if you ask for it on the Companion mode page, copies of the home page, the map, the calculator, your progress and Léo. They’re the same files everyone gets: nothing about you, nothing sent, and the site never reads them. They’re cleared along with the site data (your browser settings); a new version of the site replaces the old ones, and your offline prep is redone on your next visit online. - Screen on: your “Keep the screen on” choice on the Companion mode page (a single key,
lk_ecran_v1); nothing is written if you don’t turn it on. - Switch devices: the transfer link contains your tracking, compressed, after the # sign in the address, a part your browser never sends to the server; the QR code is drawn by the page itself. Nothing goes through the site: you’re the one who moves the link (or the file) from one device to another; only send it to yourself.
To erase: the “Clear” and “Clear all” buttons in the tools, or the browser setting that clears site data. To keep a copy: “Export my tracking” on the Progress page or in Companion mode, and the calculator’s export. A shared calculation link contains the values you entered: only share it with people you choose.
What leaves, and where it goes
| When | Data | Recipient | Purpose and legal basis | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Every visit | Technical logs: IP address, date, page requested, browser. | Vercel, host (United States; certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework according to its notice of June 1, 2026). | Serving the pages and protecting the site; legitimate interest. The publisher does not look at these logs to track visitors. | According to Vercel’s policy (notice). |
| Every page viewed (analytics) | The page address, without parameters or anchor; the page you came from; your country and region; the device type, operating system and browser; the time. No cookies: your visit is recognized for 24 hours by a hash that Vercel computes from the request, then forgotten; neither your IP address nor any identifier is kept. | Vercel Web Analytics, the host’s analytics tool, loaded from the site itself. | Knowing which pages are viewed and where visitors come from, to improve the site; legitimate interest. Analytics aren’t loaded if your browser asks not to be tracked (Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track). | Aggregate statistics, viewable for 12 months on the Vercel plan the site uses, with nothing that identifies you. You’re no longer counted on this device. |
| You submit the Contact form | Reason, page address, message, source, your email address if you give it, reference number. | The site’s sending function (Vercel), then Brevo, which forwards the email to the publisher’s inbox. | Reading and handling your request, replying to you; legitimate interest. | The site keeps nothing. The anti-abuse counter keeps a hash of your IP address in RAM for ten minutes at most. The publisher keeps your message and the reply for 12 months after your request is handled (reply sent or request closed), then deletes them (rule set on October 1, 2026); you can ask for deletion sooner. Brevo keeps its sending logs according to its policy. |
| You sign up for the home page alert | Your email address. | Brevo, which manages the list and the sending (form hosted by Brevo). | Sending you an email when the tools get real game data at the game’s release; consent (checkbox), which you can withdraw at any time. | Until you unsubscribe (link in every email) or ask for deletion. |
| You ask Léo or the “What do you want to calculate?” bar a question | Your question, the page you’re on and the language; for Léo, its local answer, excerpts from the site’s pages and your two previous questions; for the calculator, a summary of your fields (amounts, names of your purchases and activities). Don’t write personal information in a question. To count your free questions: the random identifier on your device and a hash of your IP address. In AI mode, opening Léo or clicking in the bar sends only these items, to show you what you have left and the time before renewal. | The site’s AI function (Vercel); the counters in the Upstash database; the question at Anthropic, which runs the Claude model. | Understanding your question and writing the answer, and limiting the AI, entirely free, to 15 questions per visitor every 12 hours, and to a daily budget for the whole site (a counter with no personal data); legitimate interest (answering a request you make). In local mode, without a key or during an outage, the answer is made in your browser and nothing is sent. | The site keeps no questions. The counters (hashes and number of questions) are deleted automatically after 12 hours; the anti-burst counter keeps a hash of your IP address in memory for ten minutes at most. Anthropic processes these exchanges under its commercial terms and its privacy policy. |
| You speak instead of typing (microphone button of Léo and of the calculator bar) | Your voice, for the length of the sentence, only after you click the microphone. Recognition is done by your browser, not by the site: the page only receives the text, which it puts into the field. | Your browser’s maker, under its own rules (Google for Chrome, Microsoft for Edge, Apple for Safari); nothing goes through the site’s servers. | Transcribing your question at your request. The button only exists if your browser can do it; typing is always possible. | The site keeps neither audio nor transcript. Any retention by your browser depends on its own rules. |
The four providers
- Hosting
- Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States (see Hosting).
- Email sending
- SENDINBLUE SAS (Brevo service), RCS Paris 498 019 298. Its legal notice gives its registered office as 17 rue de Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France (Brevo’s legal notice), and its privacy policy gives 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France (Brevo’s privacy policy); both pages were consulted on October 1, 2026. Brevo acts on the publisher’s behalf (as a processor); it states that it keeps its users’ contact details for two years at most after the relationship ends.
- Artificial intelligence
- Anthropic PBC, 548 Market St, PMB 90375, San Francisco, CA 94104, United States; Anthropic Ireland, Limited, 6th Floor, South Bank House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, D04 TR29, Ireland; its privacy policy, consulted on October 6, 2026, gives these addresses. The site uses its API (Claude model) to understand the questions asked to Léo and to the calculator bar; the calculations themselves are always done by the site’s engine.
- AI counter database
- Upstash, Inc. (a Delaware company, United States); its privacy policy and its data processing agreement, consulted on October 6, 2026. Upstash keeps, on behalf of the publisher (as a processor), the free-question counters, which are deleted automatically after 12 hours.
No data is sold, rented or passed on; there is no profiling and no automated decision-making.
Advertising
The site shows no advertising today and loads no advertising script. Slots are reserved on some pages (world pages), empty for now, to help pay for hosting and the AI. If an advertising network is ever added, this page will say which one, what it collects and for how long, and a banner will ask for your consent before any cookie or tracker; as long as it isn’t written here, there is none.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its rectification, its erasure or the restriction of its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, obtain portability of the data you provided, and withdraw your consent to the alert. Write to contact [at] leonidakit [dot] com or use the form with “Question about my data” as the reason. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides for a reply within one month. You can also file a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or online.
Only you know the data saved in your browser: to erase it, use the tools’ buttons or your browser settings.
Checked in the code
Cookies and trackers
In plain terms No cookies: there is nothing to accept. The only exception, if you choose it: the music and video players. The analytics store nothing on your device, and you can turn them off (details).
Checked in two ways. First, in the shipped code (script outils/preuve-confidentialite.cjs, run at every check): no page sets a cookie (no document.cookie, no Set-Cookie header in the configuration or in the site’s functions), no page loads a script, stylesheet, font or image from another site, no advertising tool is present, and the only analytics, from the host Vercel, store nothing on your device; the font is hosted on the site. Then in a browser, on October 14, 2026, on 17 pages before any action and then during the main uses (calculator, map, lists, “I have it”, Léo, Contact draft, alert): 0 cookies, no IndexedDB database, a single service worker, the site’s own, whose caches only keep copies of the site’s pages and files, no request to another site. One exit from the site: submitting the home page alert, when you click “Notify me” after checking the box: your browser then goes to Brevo’s page.
Another exit, also at your request: on the Radio and music page, the “Listen here” button loads the official YouTube (Google, in privacy-enhanced mode) or Spotify player. Nothing from them loads before that click. Once the player starts, these services may set their own cookies, under their own rules. Closing the player stops it and removes it from the page.
The copies made by the service worker are only used to display the site, even offline: they contain nothing about you and the site never reads them, just like your browser’s regular cache. The browser storage described above is used only for the features you use and is written only after an action on your part: it is exempt from consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, the loi Informatique et Libertés; the CNIL’s page “Cookies and trackers: what does the law say?”, its guidelines No. 2020-091 and its recommendation No. 2020-092 of September 17, 2020, consulted on October 1, 2026). That is why the site shows no banner: there is nothing to accept or refuse, and a banner with no trackers behind it would protect nothing.
When you sign up for the alert, you land on a Brevo page, which applies its own rules. Opening a link to another site (Rockstar, gtadb.org…) takes you off Leonidakit.
How reliable the info is
Liability and content
In plain terms The site always says where a piece of information comes from and how reliable it is; the calculations are estimates.
Each piece of information has a status (official, seen in media, community identification, series benchmark, to be confirmed) explained on the About page. A price or number from the game stays “to be confirmed” as long as Rockstar has not published anything.
The calculator’s results depend on the numbers you enter: they are estimates, with no guarantee that they match the game. Léo only says what the site says, with the source page; when the AI writes the answer, it relies only on the site’s pages, and this is stated under the answer. Léo can be wrong, and every answer has a link to report it.
Links to other sites are provided so you can check information; their content is the responsibility of their publishers. Found an error? Report it: it gets fixed as soon as a source allows.
Actual status
Accessibility
In plain terms The site is designed for keyboard use and reduced motion, but has not undergone an official audit.
What is done and checked by scripts with every version: full keyboard navigation with visible focus, text contrast at AA level (WCAG standards) on the checked pages, support for the “Reduce motion” setting, alt text for images, accessible names for form fields, announced error messages.
What is not done: no audit against the RGAA (the French accessibility standard), and therefore no compliance statement; no testing with an actual screen reader. If something blocks you, write to us describing your setup.
History
Updates to this page
Last updated: .
- , v7.92: “Guess the Location” game: the same key now also keeps your stats (games played, scores, correct answers by region, last 60 days) and your album of images already played, still only in your browser. No extra key, no cookie, no outside service.

If they differ, the French version of this Legal page prevails.
- , v7.61: Languages: the whole site is in English (pages, map, trackers, search, page not found) and Léo answers in English on the English pages, still from your browser; no new key (Léo’s conversation keeps its language in the same session key), no cookies, no outside service.
- , v7.60: Languages: English version of the home page, the calculator, the Tutorial, About, Contact and this legal notice; just one more key in your browser (lk_lang_v1, the chosen language), written only after a click; no cookies, no outside service. In case of any discrepancy, the French version of this legal notice prevails.
- , v7.58: Batch 5: batch 4 decisions written in (data controller: the site’s publisher, a private individual, identity known to the host and disclosed on request; Contact messages kept 12 months after handling); Léo: section and filtered views, help tied to the current page, conversation follow-ups, factual comparisons, copying an answer; no extra data and no cookies (Léo stays local, tab session).
