PC: nothing announced

GTA VI on PC:
what Rockstar has said, and nothing else.

GTA VI comes out on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has announced no PC version, no date and no Steam page. Here’s what’s official, what the series did before, where the announcement will come from, and why any “PC version” offered today is a scam.

Official as of October 20, 2026

GTA VI on PC: what Rockstar has announced

Rockstar has published nothing about a PC version: no announcement, no release window, no page on Steam or the Epic Games Store, no system requirements.

  • A console release first

Rockstar presents the game as a single-player experience on the two consoles. The PC version, if it comes, will be announced by Rockstar: not by a store, not by a rumor.

What Take-Two has said, without announcing anything

Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two’s CEO, has answered the question several times. These are statements, not announcements.

    PC: not announced

Three games, three very different gaps: one year, a year and a half, fourteen years. What they have in common: each time, it was Rockstar that announced the PC version, about ten months before its release for GTA V (in June 2014), one month before for Red Dead Redemption 2 and three weeks before for Red Dead Redemption; GTA V’s PC date was pushed back twice before it arrived. For GTA VI, the line stays open. Game Informer

Key points

Any GTA VI “PC version” or “beta” offered today is a scam

There is no PC version, no beta and no early access. What you’re being offered isn’t the game.

No PC version, no beta, no key: anything presented that way before a Rockstar announcement is fake.

A file to download, a “beta key” to win, “early access” in exchange for a payment or a sign-up: these are the usual forms fake versions take, and they come back before every big game. The goal is to steal an account or a payment, or to install malware.

  • GTA VI can only be bought on the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Store and from retailers selling the box (a code, not a disc).
  • Rockstar has opened no beta and no public test: nobody can invite you to one.
  • Never give out your Rockstar login details: Rockstar Support warns that fake third-party “services” ask for them to steal accounts.
  • No site, no video, no message can give you the game “early”; in August 2026, fake “Extended Look” and “demo” sites were spreading a program that steals passwords.
  • Rockstar says the same about its accounts: don’t download anything from a third-party site, and watch out for emails that imitate its own.
  • If you entered a login or a payment on one of those pages, change your password and tell your bank.
