Which animals are in GTA 6?
More than 170 species, according to Rockstar’s Michael Kane in the Game Informer cover story: more than 60 kinds of birds, more than 30 land mammals, fish and reptiles. He mentions manatees, flamingos, pelicans and alligators, and invasive species like the green iguana, the cane toad, the feral cat and the rhesus macaque. The official images already show alligators, iguanas, deer, a cougar, dogs, dolphins and birds.
Are there alligators in GTA 6?
Yes. Rockstar makes them the most famous attraction of Grassrivers, Leonida’s swamps, and the official screenshots show some swimming around airboats. The same text warns that far more dangerous predators live in the mangroves, without naming them. Nothing has been published about alligator attacks or alligator hunting.
Which animals can you hunt in GTA 6?
Rockstar hasn’t said. Mount Kalaga is presented as hunting grounds, and Rob Nelson, quoted by creator TGG, explains that hunting makes money. The screenshots show armed hunters in the forest and, in Grassrivers, an alligator and a wild cat brought back to the dock. No species is confirmed as game.
Can you have a dog in GTA 6?
Nothing says so. In the Extended Look, Jason pets a dog he comes across in a building and an angel icon pops up; reports also mention scolding it or watching it. No pet to adopt or keep at the safehouse has been announced.
Are there sharks and marine animals?
Yes, according to Michael Kane: several species of sharks, whales, rays, turtles and jellyfish, each with its own way of moving, plus manatees. The images already show dolphins in Trailer 1 and a sea turtle among reef fish in the Keys.
