When the network drops

Ready to play offline

The site saves the pages you open. To also have the map, your trackers, the calculator and Léo when the network drops, get them ready once.

To get the site ready for offline play, your browser needs to run the site’s scripts.

What gets prepared

  • The home page
  • The map
  • The calculator
  • Your progress and your trackers
  • Léo’s local answers
  • This page
How it works

A small script on the site, called a service worker, keeps copies of the site’s pages and files on your device. When the network responds, you get the latest version; when it doesn’t, the copy takes over.

The copies update when the site changes, the next time you open it online. Anything that needs the internet (videos, Léo’s AI, the contact form) waits for the network to come back.

These copies contain nothing about you. To clear them: your browser settings, site data.

On your home screen

Install the app

Once installed, Leonidakit opens like an app: full screen, without the browser bar, with shortcuts to the map, the calculator and your progress.

How to install it

  • iPhone and iPadOn iPhone and iPad, in Safari: tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”.
  • AndroidOn Android, in Chrome: the ⋮ menu, then “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”.
  • ComputerOn a computer, in Chrome or Edge: the install icon at the end of the address bar.

Your tracking goes with you

Switch devices

Your checked boxes, calculations and plans stay on this device, with no account. To get them on another one: a link, a QR code or a file. Nothing goes through the site.

This deviceA link or a QR codeThe other device

Nothing goes through the site.

Send your tracking

Create the link on this device, then open it on the other one: scan the QR code, or send yourself the link.

With a file

The same tracking, in a file you can keep or copy to the other device.

How it works

The link carries your tracking, compressed, after the # sign in the address: your browser never sends that part to the server. The QR code is drawn by the page itself.

On the other device, the page shows you what’s coming in before saving it: you choose to merge, replace or cancel. Then the address is cleaned up.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions

Does the site really work offline?
Yes, for pages you’ve already opened on this device and for what you’ve prepared: the map, your trackers, the calculator, your progress and Léo with his local answers. Anything that needs the internet (videos, Léo’s AI, the contact form) waits for the network to come back.
Does my data go through a server?
No. Your tracking stays in your browser. The transfer link keeps your data after the # sign in the address, a part the browser never sends to the server, and the QR code is made by the page itself. You choose how to move it from one device to another.
How do I install Leonidakit on iPhone?
Open the site in Safari, tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”. The Leonidakit icon shows up with your other apps.
What does my phone keep, and how do I clear it?
Copies of the site’s pages and files, nothing about you; they update when the site changes. To clear everything: your browser settings, Leonidakit site data.
My progress is too big for a QR code: what do I do?
Send yourself the link, or use the file: “Export my tracking” on this device, then “Import a file” on the other one.

Scan it with the other device’s camera.
