Lucia Caminos
Her father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk.
Her father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk. Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary; freshly released, she only wants to make smart moves from now on.
Overview
Lucia Caminos learned to fight before she could run: her father taught her, and life has been testing her ever since. Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary; a stroke of luck got her out. She and her mother come from Liberty City, and the good life in Leonida is their shared plan: Lucia means to get it on her own. Fresh out, she sticks to one rule: only smart moves from now on. A life with Jason could be her way out. She’s one of the two playable protagonists, alongside Jason.
In the story
Trailer 1 opens on her interrogation, in an orange outfit and looking straight ahead: Rockstar introduced the game through her. Trailer 2 shows her free, on Jason’s arm at the Starlet Motel, then in full action: grenade launcher on her shoulder facing the police, submachine gun in red light, riding a Sanchez with Jason. The visuals focus on the duo: she’s almost always framed with Jason, which confirms the two-character story the studio announced.
In the screenshots and on the pages
The official screenshots show her at the gym, by a pool, on a Sanchez motorcycle with Jason, holding a grenade launcher in Trailer 2, and on the cover art with the Nipper .38. Her page is linked to the Klose K17 that bears her name, to Jason, and to her “from the penitentiary to Vice City” page.
