The GTA VI vehicles spotted in the trailers

Eight vehicles have a name written by Rockstar, hundreds of others have been recognized by players in the trailers, the Extended Look and the screenshots. Here is how the site classifies them, what is certain, what isn’t, and the tools to choose your first car on November 19.

Official status

The eight vehicles named by Rockstar

A vehicle is “official” on the site when Rockstar has written its name: on an edition’s page, or on the hull in a video.

The vehicles named by Rockstar
VehicleWhere Rockstar names it
Grotti Cheetah ’95Ultimate Edition
Vapid Dominator Buggy ’67Official Ultimate Edition page
Vapid GanadoUltimate Edition text, Jason’s safehouse
Dinka EnduroUltimate Edition, Jason’s safehouse
Crest KayakUltimate Edition, Jason’s safehouse
Shitzu SqualoUltimate Edition
Vapid Stanier ’55Vintage Vice City Pack
Speedophile SeasharkName legible on the hull, Trailer 2

The edition vehicles page details the vehicles of each edition. Other names can be read on an official image without Rockstar writing them, like the Deviant and the Riata from Wyman’s collection, or the Sirius; the collection also shows an unnamed race car No. 36. The other Ultimate items, such as the retro kit for Jason’s Ganado or the Rideout Customs shop, are on the Editions page.

Those recognized in the trailers and the Extended Look

For the others, the name isn’t written: players recognize a silhouette, a grille, a badge. The site keeps these identifications with their status.

The Vehicles hub lists more than three hundred models, sorted by category, with for each one the official image when it exists, a diagram drawn for the site otherwise, the original video or screenshot, and the assumed real-life inspiration. The Real cars page matches each model with its real-life counterpart, with a royalty-free photo to back it up, without ever presenting it as certain.

Three things the site doesn’t do: display a price (none is published), display speed or handling stats (none are published), or take up a model from the leaks. The texts of each page are written from its verified fields only: category, status, source, inspiration, edition.

What the game shows

Stealing a car, keeping it or reselling it

Rob Nelson’s interviews describe car theft that is far finer than in GTA V: tools, alarms, trackers, fences.

  • Two choices at a car door. Around 6:05 of the Extended Look, in front of a Declasse Tulip, the game offers the slim jim or the broken window.
  • Tools to get hold of. Some parked cars stay locked as long as you don’t have the tools to get in, and recent cars need a key cloner, according to the demo reports.
  • Alarms, trackers and fences. Talking to Famitsu, Rob Nelson explains that luxury cars have an alarm and a tracker, that a fence can deal with them, and that the Pay ’n’ Spray shows what a stolen car is worth at resale.
  • The phone’s scanner. Talking to IGN, he describes a scanner that says whether a car is locked, whether it has an alarm or a tracker, what it would bring in, and how much registering it in your name would cost. A fence pays less for a damaged car.

How many vehicles are confirmed in GTA VI?
Eight have a name written by Rockstar: seven in the edition texts and the Speedophile Seashark, readable on the hull in Trailer 2. Other names can be read on an official image, like the Deviant, the Riata or the Sirius. The others are identifications by players, flagged as such on each page.
What is the Ultimate Edition’s car?
Several: the Grotti Cheetah ’95, the Vapid Dominator Buggy ’67, the Dinka Enduro, the Crest kayak and the Shitzu Squalo boat, plus Wyman’s Classic Car Collection (including the Deviant, the Riata and a race car No. 36) and a retro kit for Jason’s Vapid Ganado. The Vintage Vice City Pack adds the Vapid Stanier ’55.
Can we know the prices of GTA VI’s cars?
Not yet: no price is published as of October 27, 2026. The site will show them with their source and their date as soon as they exist, and the calculator will offer them as references.
How do you steal a car in GTA VI?
According to the Extended Look and Rob Nelson’s interviews: slim jim or broken window, tools to get hold of for some cars, a key cloner for recent ones, alarms and trackers on luxury cars, and resale to a fence or at the Pay ’n’ Spray.
