Overview
Dogs are the animals you interact with in the official videos. At the start of the Extended Look, released on August 27, 2026, Jason and Lucia walk through a building to pick up a package for Boobie; on the way, Jason pets a dog, and an angel icon pops up with a little sound. Reports see it as a sign of the criminal profile, which keeps track of what you do, and also mention scolding or watching the animal. The final montage shows a Chihuahua dressed in a purple tutu and fairy wings, right in the middle of Vice City.
What the images show
In the screenshots, a black dog sits against a person at the foot of a painted pillar, under the Vice City overpass. In Grassrivers, a brown dog sniffs the ground behind a hunter, near a hanging alligator. In the Keys, a tan and black dog stands in the street among passersby.
What happens in the game
Petting a dog is shown; scolding or watching it is only described by the press. Nothing says you’ll be able to adopt a dog, feed it or keep it at the safehouse.
