Port Gellhorn
A faded beach resort of cheap motels and closed-down attractions.
Once a vacation destination, Port Gellhorn now lives off what’s left: cheap motels, empty malls and closed-down attractions. A place to lie low and take the jobs nobody else wants.

Overview
Port Gellhorn had its glory days as a beach resort; only the signs are left. Rockstar describes a city that has lost its prosperity, with its cheap motels, abandoned malls and closed-down attractions, where you can lie low and take the jobs nobody else wants. In the official screenshots, the neon of the Starlet Motel and late-night bars towers over a backdrop of roadside shops and vacant lots. It’s a forgotten coast, the exact opposite of Vice City’s glitz. Trailer 1 puts Jason and Lucia’s motel room there.
In the artwork and in the story
Port Gellhorn is the city that lost its prosperity: Rockstar describes cheap motels, abandoned malls and closed-down attractions, the place to drop off the radar and take the jobs nobody wants. Trailer 1 puts Jason and Lucia’s motel room there, and the screenshots show the Starlet Motel sign, the Delights club and a late-night bar.
On the ground
In the game, the city should work as a hideout and a playground for small-time hustles. On the Leonidakit map, the Starlet Motel is placed based on its sign, and the region gathers the roadside shops and vacant lots seen in the screenshots. The rest will become clearer at launch.
Key points
- Once a vacation destination, the city now lives off what’s left.
- Empty malls and dark signs make up its nighttime backdrop in the screenshots.
