What the artwork shows
The Mamba GT is one of the models Rockstar named in the Ultimate Edition lineup. The Shelby Daytona Coupe whose look it borrows is a race car born from a constraint: making an open-top Cobra aerodynamic enough to hold its own on the long straight at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The result, with its chopped tail and raked windshield, won the world championship in 1965. Only six were ever built.
The real-world match
The match we picked for this vehicle is the Shelby Daytona Coupe. Take it for what it is: a reading of the released images. Rockstar has never commented on the models it starts from.
